About Me
My name is Brooke Corbo and I am recent graduate of SUNY Oneonta where I got my B.S. in Fashion and Textiles with a concentration in Merchandising. Between my many skills and experiences I consider myself a dedicated person with a strong work ethic.
Some skills I consider myself to have are technology, teamwork, and communication. Between various courses I have had, I have worked in many group settings and communicated with many of my peers and professors. Being that I was a student during Covid-19, this allowed me to expand my knowledge on technology. From Office 365 to Microsoft word and teams I am well versed in these outlets. I am experienced in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, thanks to my Intergraded Fashion Merchandising and Design courses.
Not only have I applied these skills in school but, I have had outside experience as well. I was the Apparel Chair of my Sorority, Phi Sigma Sigma. This is a position in which I held for about a year. Being the Apparel Chair entails the communication of many retailers and budgeters as well as communication with our

sorority president and sisters to make clothing for specific events. I was also the VP of Membership for our Marketing Club, SUNY OnMark. In this position I held membership drives to increase the number of active participants and create presentations to 80% of freshman marketing and business classes. My overall goal was to motivate our members to attend weekly meetings and participate as much as they can. I was also a member of the NSLS Honor Society as well as LEAD Oneonta. All these groups and organizations helped me to develop great leadership, professional, and team work skills I plan to take with me into the next chapter of my life. I consider myself a leader with my many qualities that allow me to continue to push myself and perceiver. I would be a great asset to any company as Im willing to work hard, learn daily, and collaborate with others.
